Current Yoga Class Schedule

Please note that due to the COVID pandemic, all classes and sessions will be offered virtually.
I look forward to meeting you in person when it is safe to do so.
My yoga classes are weight-neutral brave spaces for people of all shapes, sizes, genders, and abilities.
If you have any questions or requests for upcoming classes, ​please ​​contact me ​via phone or text at least 2 hours before the start of class.

Yoga For All Sizes:  Sundays at 12 Noon  via Vista Yoga

This class is for anyone who has ever felt they aren't the right size to do yoga. Every week is different, with a variety of themes and forms.
Restorative Yoga:  Sundays at 6 pm via ​​Decatur Yoga & Pilates
​
End your weekend with a deep breath and ease into the week ahead feeling deeply relaxed.
​This class focuses on supported forms held for 5 minutes or longer.

Requested Props For All Classes:
  • Your favorite yoga mat
  • 1 bolster or cushion (a sofa cushion can work here)
  • 2 yoga blocks (I prefer 4" striped foam blocks)
  • 2 firm blankets (I recommend striped traditional Mexican blankets)
  • 1 chair without arms (a folding chair works just fine)
You can purchase props from a variety of sources. I like the ones available at YogaAccessories.com.

Individual Yoga Therapy Sessions

Individual yoga therapy sessions are available most weekdays between 11 am and 7 pm and Saturdays by request. During the pandemic, all sessions will be offered via Zoom. Depending on the work we are doing together, sessions may last 30-50 minutes. I am offering all individual yoga therapy sessions at a pay-what-you-can rate. My usual fees are $30-50 sliding scale for 30 minute sessions and $75 for 50 minute sessions. Some of the ways we might work together include:
  • Trauma Sensitive Yoga
  • Relieving stress, anxiety, and/or depression
  • Releasing chronic muscle tension
  • Befriending your body through gentle movement
  • Beginning or returning to a yoga practice
  • Setting up and sticking with a home practice
  • Adapting yoga practices for specific medical conditions

Yoga For Parties & Other Events

Practicing together with your friends and colleagues is a wonderful way to bond with each other while doing something that has so many benefits. And it feels great!

I have been honored to bring yoga to such places as Emory University College of Nursing, a Georgia Tech research lab, Congregation Bet Haverim synagogue, and 12 Step retreats,  as well as gatherings at private homes across metro Atlanta. No group is too large or small.

​No experience is necessary to enjoy a gentle yoga practice with me, and I welcome people of all shapes, sizes, genders, and abilities to my classes.
